Flatscan
Terms
These Terms govern your use of Flatscan, a local document scanner and searchable archive for iPhone and iPad.
App Store license
Flatscan is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple’s Standard EULA applies to the app license unless we publish and submit a custom agreement in App Store Connect. These Terms add product, subscription, support, and privacy rules for Flatscan.
Your documents and local storage
Scans, imported pages, thumbnails, OCR text, folders, and search data live in the app container on your device.
When you share a PDF, TXT file, or backup, iOS sends it only to the destination you choose in the system share sheet. Password-protected backups are encrypted before sharing. Flatscan does not operate a document-processing server.
Subscriptions and Pro features
Flatscan Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. The purchase sheet shows the current price, trial, renewal period, and cancellation terms before you confirm.
Acceptable use
Do not use Flatscan to violate law, handle documents you have no right to use, infringe privacy or intellectual-property rights, or interfere with the app, Apple services, or other users except where the law permits it.
Privacy and support
Your use is also covered by the Privacy Policy. These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
Apple handles App Store purchases and refunds. Use Apple Report a Problem to request a refund.
App changes and availability
We may change, suspend, or remove features, trial availability, prices, or availability over time. We will not intentionally remove access to documents stored locally on your device, but device loss, deletion, storage failure, backups, app bugs, and operating-system behavior can affect local files.
Disclaimers
Flatscan is a document utility, not legal, medical, tax, financial, or professional advice. Review scans, OCR text, and exported files before using them in an important workflow.
Flatscan is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. OCR can be inaccurate, so review scans, OCR text, filenames, and exported files before an important workflow.
Limitation of liability and governing law
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GLEB KUCHERENKO is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost data, profits, business, or goodwill. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
