Is Flatscan an OCR document scanner?

Yes. Flatscan uses Apple's on-device Vision OCR to recognize text in saved documents and make it searchable inside the app.

Can I export PDFs without a watermark?

Yes. Clean PDF export is available without a watermark. Pro is for unlimited OCR and search plus searchable PDF export.

Can Flatscan create searchable PDFs?

Yes. During the 14-day Pro trial or with Flatscan Pro, documents with recognized text can export as searchable PDFs with selectable text.

How do I move my complete archive to another device?

Create a password-protected backup in Settings, save the .flatscanbackup file where you choose, then import it on the other device. Restore adds compatible content without replacing documents already there. Flatscan cannot recover a forgotten backup password.

Apple handles App Store purchases and refunds. Use Apple Report a Problem to request a refund.
